We’re delighted to announce that OFS has officially been shortlisted for both Outstanding Customer Service and Partnership of the Year at the Automate UK Awards 2026.

The annual awards celebrate excellence across the UK processing and packaging machinery industry, recognising organisations and individuals demonstrating innovation, collaboration and leadership in manufacturing.

For OFS, being named a finalist in both categories is particularly meaningful because each nomination reflects something central to the way we work: technology is only part of what creates lasting operational improvement. The relationships, support and collaboration behind it matter just as much.

Finalist: Outstanding Customer Service

OFS has been shortlisted for Outstanding Customer Service, recognising the support provided throughout the implementation and ongoing development of OFS at AB World Foods.

The relationship began with a pilot designed to replace manual, paper and Excel-based OEE reporting with accurate, real-time production intelligence. From the outset, the OFS team worked closely with AB World Foods through remote training, regular check-ins, engineering support, onsite assistance and continued optimisation.

The results extended well beyond implementation. During the initial pilot, AB World Foods recorded a 1.6% improvement in OEE.

Ongoing collaboration has also helped identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve waste reporting, strengthen operator engagement and give teams greater visibility into the performance of their operations.

Finalist: Partnership of the Year

OFS and AB World Foods have also been jointly shortlisted for Partnership of the Year.

What began as a technology pilot has developed into a broader strategic relationship built around continuous improvement, innovation and shared operational outcomes.

Following the success of the initial deployment, the partnership has expanded beyond the original site and contributed to wider conversations across the ABF Grocery network. This has included collaboration with teams internationally, knowledge sharing across the group, expansion into Poland and the adoption of OFS by additional UK businesses.

Importantly, the relationship continues to evolve. Both teams are exploring new opportunities across integrations, analytics and AI, including the future application of Mayvn AI, as OFS and AB World Foods continue working together to turn manufacturing data into measurable operational improvement.

Celebrating the partnership in September

The winners will be announced at the Automate UK Awards on 23 September 2026, with members of the OFS team attending alongside key representatives from AB World Foods.

Being shortlisted for either award would be an achievement. To be recognised for both Outstanding Customer Service and Partnership of the Year is a reflection of the people on both sides who have contributed to making the relationship a success.

A huge thank you to the team at AB World Foods for their continued trust, collaboration and willingness to innovate alongside us, and to everyone across OFS who continues to put customer outcomes at the centre of what we do.

We’re looking forward to celebrating together in September.
