We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst with real analytical chops who can unpack problems and be the domain expert within a cross-functional product development team.

You have experience working within agile teams and an expert in applying best-practice methodologies. You are someone who thrives on new challenges and gains genuine enjoyment from delighting customers. You have exceptional communication skills and are willing to have open, respectful and collaborative discussions across all business functions.

Your curiosity drives you to understand problems and be the expert the engineering team turns to for questions. You are analytical, detail orientated and apply these qualities towards developing user stories that are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

 

Working cross-functionally, you’ll take ownership of a number of key activities and proactively drive the product development process. This will involve:

  • Collaborating with Product to:

    • Communicate the product strategy,  customer and problem context to establish a common understanding within the team.

    • Prioritization of the backlog and roadmap.

    • Defining the problem area.

    • Determine the right solution.

    • Measure outcomes against success criteria.

  • Elaborate additional criteria and specifications when necessary.

  • Writes user stories and supporting artifacts.

  • Identify and close gaps in the acceptance and the input to the testing activities.

  • Drive backlog refinement, grooming, and prioritization.

  • Contribute to go-to-market plans for releases and drive the process thought the business.

  • Contribute to evolving agile practices and maturity.

Requirements
  • Working in cross-functional teams is nothing unusual to you. 

  • You’re highly motivated with a positive approach and have demonstrated ability taking accountability for delivering outcomes

  • Incredibly organized, proactive and approachable with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders whilst building great relationships

  • Capable of prioritizing and managing own workload

  • Experience managing backlogs using tools such as Jira / Confluence

  • Extensive experience working and maturing Agile processes, while not being wedded to any particular ways-of-working

  • Experience with Analytics / BI product suits is an advantage

  • Understanding of the manufacturing industry, IIoT and Industry 4.0 principles and technologies will be looked upon favorably.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Bonus points for a sense of humor and a love of digital tech!
