OFSLive highlighted speed fluctuations across like product running through the oven. In the example shown the transition from Night shift to Day shift included a 20% drop in speed for a product that ran at the greater speed all through the previous shift, without any quality issues.

Once these patterns were identified, the plant immediately implemented a program to review operational settings and parameters to ensure both consistent product quality and machine performance.

To sustain a positive result, the campaign was accompanied by training operating crews in the revised procedures and live monitoring of OFSLive at the machines - enabling speed fluctuations to be detected and addressed as they happen.
